Wild
The Wild symbol can stand for any other symbol, except for Scatters, to make the best possible winning combination. There is also a separate payout for 3 or more Wilds on an active payline.
Wilds substituting for other symbols to complete a line win in the main game will multiply that line win by x2. This multiplier does not affect wins made up entirely of Wilds.
Bonus Scatter
The Yellow Brick Road bonus is triggered when Bonus Scatters land simultaneously on reels 1, 3 and 5.
Wizard Bonus Scatter
The Meet the Wizard bonus is triggered by Bonus Scatters landing on reels 1 and 3 and the Wizard Bonus Scatter landing on reel 5 on the same spin.
Free Spins Scatter
Free Spins are triggered by Free Spins Scatters landing on reels 2, 4 and 5 simultaneously.
Good Witch Wild
The Good Witch Wild appears on all reels during Free Spins.
The Good Witch Wild can stand for any other symbol in Free Spins to make the best possible winning combination. There is no payout for 3 or more Good Witch Wilds on an active payline.
Whenever a Good Witch Wild lands on the reels during Free Spins, it will be collected. All collected Good Witch Wilds will be placed on the reels during the final Super Spin.
Wicked Witch Scatter
The Wicked Witch Scatter appears on all reels during Free Spins.
The Wicked Witch Scatter pays out as a Scatter when 2 or more appear anywhere on the reels.
Wicked Witch Scatters are collected whenever they land on the reels during Free Spins. When 5 Wicked Witch Scatters are collected, the final Super Spin will be triggered.
Yellow Brick Road Bonus
Bonus Scatters landing on reels 1, 3 and 5 simultaneously will trigger the Yellow Brick Road bonus.
When the bonus is triggered, the reels will be replaced with the Yellow Brick Road trail. Every square of the trail will contain one of the following:
- A multiplier value
- One of Dorothy’s companions (Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Lion).
- The progressive jackpot (high stakes players only).
The final square of the trail is the Emerald City.
The player can press SPIN on the onscreen bonus wheel to determine how many spaces they will move on the trail. The spinner can land on numbers between 1 and 6, corresponding to how many space on the trail the player will move, or land on collect. Landing on collect will end the bonus and award the player their total bet multiplied by the multiplier of the square of the trail they are currently on.
If the player lands on a space with one of Dorothy’s companions, that companion will be collected in a collection area at the top of the screen. Every time a companion is collected all trail multipliers will be increased by a multiplier (x2 for the first companion, x3 for the second and x4 for the third).
If the player lands on the Emerald City square of the trail, the Meet the Wizard bonus will be triggered. The player will not receive any prizes from the Yellow Brick Road bonus in this case, but any companions collected will be used in the Meet the Wizard Bonus (see below for more information).
Meet the Wizard Bonus
There are 2 ways to trigger the Meet the Wizard bonus:
- Land on the Emerald City square of the Yellow Brick Road bonus.
- Land a Wizard Bonus Scatter on reel 5 with Bonus scatters on reels 1 and 3.
When the Wizard Bonus is triggered, the screen will display 20 coins to choose from. The player may pick 4 of these coins to reveal prizes, which will be one of the following:
- A cash prize.
- A character (Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man or the Lion).
Any collected characters will award additional larger cash prizes at the end of the bonus.
Collecting all 4 characters will award the Progressive Jackpot.
If the player enters the Meet the Wizard bonus from the Yellow Brick Road bonus, any companions they collected will be revealed on the coins immediately and they may then proceed to make 4 coin picks. If the player has collected all 3 companions, they will be awarded the progressive jackpot.
Free Spins
Free Spins Scatters on reels 2, 4 and 5 simultaneously will trigger Free Spins. Free Spins in Winnings of Oz are unlimited, and will continue until the final Super Spin is triggered.
During Free Spins the only Scatter that will appear is the Wicked Witch Scatter. The Good Witch Wild will also be added to the reels.
The Good Witch Wild can stand for any other symbol in Free Spins to make the best possible winning combination. There is no payout for 3 or more Good Witch Wilds on an active payline.
Whenever a Good Witch Wild lands on the reels during Free Spins, it will be collected, up to a maximum of 10. All collected Good Witch Wilds will be placed on the reels during the final Super Spin. The Wicked Witch Scatter appears on all reels during Free Games. The Wicked Witch Scatter pays out as a Scatter when 2 or more appear anywhere on the reels.
Wicked Witch Scatters are collected whenever they land on the reels during Free Spins. When 5 Wicked Witch Scatters are collected, the final Super Spin will be triggered.
The Super Spin will end Free Spins as soon as 5 Wicked Witch Scatters have been collected and the payout from that spin has been awarded to the player. At the start of the Super Spin, all collected Good Witch Wilds will be placed on the reels and remain in those positions for the Super Spin.
